Bonjour!
I have been hearing about this cafe for quite some time, and eventually, i get to visit this place during lunch hour to further widen my horizon culinarily.
Chef Asrul Ariffin aka Steven, as fondly called by my food connoisseur buddy, Chef Dan :)
DUCK LEG CONFIT (MYR 17)
Love the slight crispiness on the skin, but couln't help falling in love more with the seemingly normal fries but tasted stellar! Later do i found out from my buddy that the longer crunchiness and fluffiness ofthe fries is due to the oil used, which includes a blend of fish, chicken and other secret recipe that Chef Asrul might have had under his belt, hehe. Triple thumbs up!
EBI MENSHI (MYR 20)
Juicy and sweet prawn meat deliciously sandwiched between two lightly toasted buttered bread.
Inhouse sweet treats! Simply divine!
There were scoops of freshly made ice creams which includes flavours of raspeberry, vanilla, chocolate, mango and the most memorable one, caramel. Unlike the local rendition, the caramel from French is used in this recipe thus rendering some smoky bitterness but yet delectable aftertaste. Something special that got me hooked on instantly!
