CELEBRATE THIS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S AT THE ARMADA PETALING JAYA





In a blink of an eye, soon St.Nick is coming for his annual tour to visit us again.
So it is time again to share this wonderful session of festivities with friends, family and colleagues over a sumptuous meal in a beautifully decorated venue prepared by the team at Utara Coffee House at the Armada Petaling Jaya Hotel.





The in-house restaurant at the four-star hotel is located at the heart of Petaling Jaya that offers a wide array of international fusion cuisine. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a panoramic view of the city lights by night, while letting in the sun on Malaysia’s sunny tropical days as diners munch within the modernly furnished interior featuring warm lights and comfortable furniture.







In conjunction with the Yuletide season, Utara Coffee House would be featuring amazing festive offerings which will definitely titillate your appetite and satisfy any festive cravings. Feast on an abundance of Christmas delights during Christmas and on New Year’s at their lavish buffet of traditional and innovative festive delights.






With an extensive range of delicious salads and fresh seafood, traditional Christmas meats and decadent desserts, expect to dig into a range of choices including the Smoked Chicken accompanied with a Cranberry De Glace and all the trimmings, Dubarry Soup With Cheese Batonette, Roast Duck Ripieni With Calvados, Roast Beef Tapenade With Champignon, Pan Seared Lamb with Garlic Soubise and Louisiana Pumpkin Rice, just to name a few. 






The meal would not be complete without indulging in some dessert favourites such as Christmas Pudding with Custard Sauce, the Classic Yule Log Cake, Fruit Mince Pies and delicious Lemon Meringue Pie.






All the sumptuous treats are delectably prepared by Executive Chef Chew, who is one affable maestro with wondrous culinary knowledge that knows how food chemistry works best blending in both European and French cuisines.

SALMON COULIBIAC 
Russian pirog filled with juicily poached salmon and some pepper for seasoning





TIGER PRAWN CEVICHE WITH AVOCADO
The dish is typically made from freshly poached prawns cured in citrusy lemon juice 





DUBARRY SOUP WITH CHEESE BATONETTE
Creme du Barry or more familiarly known as cauliflower soup, freshly made daily from scratch without any thickening, extracting essence from onions, potatoes, leeks and cauliflower besides Parmesan




BAKED CAPON WITH BREAD ALMOND ROULADE
A capon (a castrated domestic cock) stuffed with a soft filling infused with mire poix stock, within the chicken cavity and served with 3 types of sauce including herbed giblet sauce.




ROAST DUCK RIPIENI WITH CALVADOS & SMOKED CHICKEN WITH CRANBERRY DE GLACE
The duck meat is deboned and cut into thick slices, and served with spiced apple sauce, preplated with awesomely 2 hours-smoked chicken with hickory dust (not in the picture).




SWEDISH CRAB PUDDING
Lusciously captivating with its seafood-richness in each spoonful delicious mash, made into béchamel thickness together with frozen crab meat, parmesan, celery and onion before sealed atop with mozarella cheese.




ROAST BEEF TAPENADE WITH CHAMPIGNON
The Provençal paste is actually quite flavourful and consisting of finely chopped tapenade (black olives), capers, anchovies, mushroom duxelle and olive oil, with smidgen of beef jus




LOUISIANA PUMPKIN RICE WITH WHOLE PUMPKIN 
Golden pot of nutty rice with raisins too




MOUSSELINE OF PUMPKIN CARROT, SWEET POTATO
The luxuriously-rich derivative of Hollandaise sauce of Mousseline Sauce or is sometimes called Sauce Chantilly, is rather soft. Whipped cream is folded in at the end to create an extremely "light", fluffy and elegant sauce in these colorful mousse of potato, sweet potato, pumpkin and carrot.




WHOLE LAMB LEG WITH GARLIC SAUCE
The meat was made flavourful with assorted herbs apart from olive oil
