Guess what?
The Yuletide mood is already in the air
at Wings Music Café at its SS2
outlet with the introduction of its new festive menu specially created for the
upcoming Christmas, that caters for all types of diners, be it with your other
significant, couples, families and also platter to share among friends!
Compared to the previous outlet at Sri Petaling (大城堡)which we patronized earlier in last
August during its 13thanniversary celebration, this particular outlet at Petaling Jaya boasts a
more warm and laid back feel, allowing ones to easily get into the (musical)
mood while still being tantalized by toothsome spread passionately created by
the ever cheerful and affable Chef Clement.

MUMBO
JUMBO BURGER
As sinful as it appears, this triple
meat patties burger certainly drools any meat lovers especially, with its 2
beef-and-1 chicken patty, yummily sandwiched between 2 fluffy charcoal bun,
alongside cheddar cheese, vegetables and other accompaniment, not forgetting
its Fries Tree!
SALTED
EGG CHICKEN CHOP
Being another big fan of salted egg
food apart from potatoes, this crunchy and huge slab of meat definitely comes
alluring. The meat was really juicy and succulent inside, underneath the well
deep fried crispy skin till golden brown. The salted egg gravy was calibrated
just nice, so the chicken skin itself could actually go lighter on the
seasoning, otherwise will appear tad salty. Ah, don’t forget that cute Snowman
potato too!
FRIES
TREE
Looking for some finger food? Then don’t
forget to give this nosh which I personally deem as Fries Platter for the
assorted flavor in just one serving! The fries greets you the similar way as in MUMBO JUMBO BURGER. Choose to ‘snow’ your additive fries tree
with Tangy Curry, Cheesy Primero and Mexican Chili. My favourite? It has got to
be the Tangy Curry then followed by the cheesy ones. No matter what, so long it’s
chunkly cut fries, I’m already a happy lass! Have I told you that I’m also an all-time
big buff of these spuds? (=
LUNCHEON
MEAT
To live it up to the Yule theme, even
the once conventional, mundane Gingerbread Man has now arisened up from
nostalgic luncheon meat which everyone mostly (if not all) fighting for it real
much during childhood. Kids will love them very much- apart from serving as an
effective Ipad-replacement in order to keep them at seat during dining time (=

in big group? Then this menu certainly fits the bill!
CHRISTMAS
PLATER!
Came cutely decorated with Fries Tree
and Snowman Mashed Potato, Cheesy Ham Sausage and Gingerbread luncheon meat to
feeds everyone around the table.
Basically, it has everything under one
roof!
What about some jovial mocktails to
merry up the atmosphere?
And that leads to 2 vibrant drinks to
clear up the throat after the feast =)
OLAF
Obviously, it’s inspiration drawn from the
fictional character of Olaf The Snowman in 2013 animated film- Frozen.
RUDOLPH
Essentially, red Ribena-infused drink
to jazz up the vibes entirely!
Apart from the many appealing grubs and
moreish snacks like the fries, do not leave Wings Music Café without treating yourself to a few dulcet numbers of
serenades from their inhouse acoustic
artists that surely gonna please your ears and potentially, hold you back for
more tuneful tracks. And being a music lover myself (besides the already widely
known FOOD lover :D), I too did not miss the chance to pass a song request to
dedicate to all the members of the floor that evening.

And thanks to the mellifluous voice of
Kevin, that I get to indulge tunefully in my fave songs again, from Savage
Garden’s “I Knew I Loved You”. It’s a
simple, euphonic song that holds a thousand memories with the happy family of
Wings Music Café here.
