only natural that another festival comes wrapping up shortly after Christmasand New Year Eve celebration, and that’s none other than the annually celebrated
Lunar occasion to usher in the new year with Rooster being the Chinese zodiac
of 2017.
Already well known for its
culinary elan in exquisite French cuisine, this year Mezze Wine Bar & Bistro decided to chip in the conviviality of
the merry festivity by crafting special porky feast to excite the palate of bon
vivants around. Basically, it gonna be a real, true blue night of porkilicious fete!

Each
bites is so tender and succulent with the adequate marinade that comes with
mild spiciness for added kick

of delight consisting of pork chorizo, bacon, crispy pork belly, black forest
ham, juicy pork belly char siu, Toulouse sausage with sides of mashed potatoes

Delicious
minced pork sausages seasoned with 5 spices, white wine and brandy, served
alongside mashed potatoes and mustard.
Only one word to describe the umami- stellar!
French BKT- Pork Knuckle Stew (MYR 88- 2 pax
sharing)
Infused
with honey and sage, lovingly simmered in beef stock with Granny Smith apples
and served with 4 deep fried flower roll buns
Smoked Ham Hock Knuckle (MYR 88- 2 pax sharing)
Tender
smoked ham hock, served with sides of sauerkraut and brown horseradish sauce
The eccentric gourmet was
indeed laudable with attempt to strike a well-balanced marriage between East and
West unification, such as the succulent Pork Belly Char Siu which has got to
be my favourite amongst all, besides The Smoked Ham Hock Knuckle that comes
with the piquant homemade sauerkraut that’s truly convincing, for that sides used
to be an acquired taste for me when sampled elsewhere. Guess it’s sufficed to
say that they just have got the recipe right!
This
