LE PONT BOULANGERIE @ SRI PETALING






Bridging the gap after my previous visit at its first outlet at Old Klang Road, Le Pont Boulangerie has now extended its bridge to nearby folks of Sri Petaling with its second opening to continue rekindling the art and soul of food, staying true to its French namesake.





 


Since its inception 2 years ago, many has been mesmerized by its authentic presentation of French casual fine dining in a spacious and elegant environment where the inspiration is actually drawn from ‘joie de vivre’, a French expression of ‘enjoyment of life’.






So what’s awaiting here is their newly launched dazzling menu to entice your taste buds more, inviting you over to savour an eclectic of hearty European fare, desserts, pastries and signature coffee.





WILD MUSHROOM SOUP (MYR 11.90)
Blend of shitake, button and porcini mushrooms and served with a soft roll bun


TANGY SMOKED DUCK SALAD (MYR 17.90)
Mixed salad with smoked ducks, shallot rings,  orange slice, mango segment, cherry tomatoes and orange vinaigrette dressing


Some snacks and appetizers as the perfect companion to enjoy small talk over while whetting our palate away.

CHEESY BAKED ESCARGOTS (MYR 24.90)
Half dozen escargots baked with cheese and garlic cream sauce, spinach and a slow cooked egg. Served with a side of garlic bread


SAUSAGE PLATTER (MYR 28.90)
Premium combination of chicken bratwurst and beef sausages, and served with Dijon Mustard and Sauerkraut


For some messy, beauty pleasures, dunk in this rich homemade ingredients and other ravishing gourmet artistry of Italian favourites, besides the other mouthwatering mains.


SALMON PUSTANESCA (MYR 32.90)
Spaghetti with salmon, onion, garlic, black olives paste, basil, tomato sauce and topping or aragula


MUSHROOM CARBONARA (MYR 26.90)
Fettuccine pasta with button mushroom, thyme, cream and parmesan cheese


AGLIO OLIO (MYR 17.90 + MYR 5 FOR TURKEY HAM)
Linguine tossed in fragrant garlic, olive oil and chili


SMOKED DUCK FIESTA (MYR 23.90)
Smoked duck with shallot rings, peach slices, arugula, homemade BBQ sauce and mozzarella cheese.


CHICKEN MELTS BURGER (25.90)
Juicy chicken thigh with mixed salads, tomatoes, caramelized onions, cheese and spicy cod roe sauce in a lightly toasted charcoal bun. Served with a side of parmesan fries.



SOUS VIDE DUCK BREAST (MYR 38.90)
Succulent duck breast infused with orange and thyme, tenderly cooked in sous  vide style and served with chat potatoes, roasted button mushrooms and sautéed baby French beans with blueberry sauce



LEMON CAPER CHICKEN (MYR 32.90)
Pan fried whole chicken leg pressure cooked with lemon caper sauce and anchovies till tender. Served with roasted chat potatoes and ratatouille

FISH PAPILLOTE (MYR 25.90)

White tuna cooked sous vide style in parchment paper and baked with onions, carrots, leeks, button mushrooms, dill and lemon


LE PONT LAMB SHANK (MYR 45.90)
Juicy braised lamb shank sous vide cooked for 48 hours, served with apricot sauce and a side of mashed potatoes, roasted peppers and asparagus



FRAISEE AU COULANT (MYR 18.90)
Crunchy biscuit base filled with rich white chocolate and strawberry and served with a scoop of homemade strawberry ice cream

 

CHOCOLAT AU COULANT (MYR 19.90)
Molten dessert made with velvety chocolate filling and biscuit base, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream



CHOCOLATE FUDGE GALA (MYR 15.90)
Flourless and gluten-free confection with walnuts, chopped hazelnuts, poached strawberries


LE PONT WAFFLES (MYR 14.90)
Trademark dessert served with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and mixed berries marmalade


CHAMOMILE PANNA COTTA (MYR 16.90)
Lusciously flavoured  pudding infused with chamomile tea, passion fruit and a topping of coconut foam. Personally, I enjoy this delicate dessert pretty much as it comes just nice, not overly sweet nor heavy, but with a pleasant floral notes amidst the coconut aroma.

Dainty time for some hand brew using seasonal single origins coffeeas well as refreshing beverages

Pacamara El Savador via Honey Processed from Ona Coffee.
Taste profile lingering on fruit cake, baked apple and date-like sweetness

STRAWBERRY SYMPHONY (MYR 16.50)
Concoction of strawberry puree, orange juice, tonic water and cherry tomatoes with strawberry slices


FRUITY TANGO (MYR 16.50)
Raspberry, cultured milk and watermelon juice serve with watermelon skewer
