IBIS BUDGET AUCKLAND AIRPORT

On the very first day of arrival, usually nothing much can be expected, especially you are going to touch down your destination in early evening.

So in this case with clock strikes at about slightly 15minutes past 4 at local NZ time, we went to claim our check-in luggage and then getting some grubs at MAC'S DownUnder Bar & Café and EspressoBar, before heading over to our crib for the night at ibis Hotel.

However, the route to the 20mins-away hotel wasn’t that easily to locate initially. With the help and guidance of the good Samaritans that we happened to bump into along the way, eventually we found our way there after some good ‘exercising’ with the luggage I guess, following the signboard upon approaching.

Reception area was pretty clean and bright.

Soon we checked in to our comfy room with the basic essentials that we needed for a short stay, before flying off the very next morning to Queenstown.

With the spare time available, we decided to visit the nearby convenience shops to catch some very first, brief glimpse of the local stalls. And then there’s where we found Countdown to shop for some snacks and milk, of course! (=

All this for NZD 9! Pretty decent huh? (=

 Here we have some LRC Organic Milk, Barista Bros Iced Coffee, Blue Bird Chips- Ready Salted and Salt and Vinegar for the chips-lover of ME, hehe.

Went around for some window shopping where we chanced upon the many cutesy and furry cotton wears. Aint’ they cute?

As it started to drizzle lightly, we quickly ran back to our hotel and call it a day, hoping sweet dreams would drop by in our dream land soon, before the next flight!
