TRAVEL | NEW ZEALAND DAY 1

 

On the very first day of arrival, usually nothing much can be expected, especially you are going to touch down your destination in early evening.

So in this case with clock strikes at about slightly 15minutes past 4 at local NZ time, we went to claim our check-in luggage and then getting some grubs at MAC'S DownUnder Bar & Café  and EspressoBar, before heading over to our crib for the night at  ibis Hotel.

Oh ya, before that, do get yourself one local SIM Card from Vodafone (you can share the hotspot among yourself, depending on the usage capacity) to ease your travel. For worry-free trip, we go for the Vodafone High Value at NZD 86; comes with bigger data plan.

We reached Auckland International Airport about 5pm its local time (Btw, NZ is 4 hours ahead of us, Malaysia time), after which we headed to Down Under Bar & Café located at the airport for some quick bites before putting a night at nearby Ibis Hotel to ease us to catch that early morning flight the very next day to Queenstown. Will be sharing more interesting spots with beautiful scenery soon, so stay tuned!
