ROYALE VIETNAM @ SKY AVENUES, RESORTS WORLD GENTING

Just as we adjourned from the Ciao culture of the enclave resplendent of Italian city which is situated just few steps’ away to its Asian neighbour, here we are, vibrantly greeted by its prosperous neon setting that at one point of time, had me mistaken it as lunar festive still! (=

 

Now let’s have a taste of Vietnam over here at none other than the opulent Royale Vietnam, which has called SkyAvenue as its new home since the establishment of the new retail shopping mall. Beautifully graced by floral ornaments, accentuated with subtle wooden settings and illuminated by warm ambiance, this restaurant makes the perfect spot for a cozy banquet dining over delicious Vietnamese cuisine that is loveably equipped with attentive customer service.

Guests would be delighted to find out that the menu here is actually offering rather extensive selections that would make you spoilt for choices! Or if you just couldn’t make up your mind which dishes to pick like us, then just leave it to the hands of the inhouse maestro to recommend few of their signature plates to delight your tastebuds with Vietnamese culinary heritage.

FRESH SPRING ROLL (MYR 18.90)

Combinations of garden vegetables, herbs, vermicelli noodles and fresh shrimp, wrapped in rice paper

SEAFOOD MANGO SALAD (MYR 18)

A refreshing salad served with sliced mango, agar, mixed vegetable and shrimps, drizzled with sweet and sour lime fish sauce, indeed very appetizing!

 

CRISPY GOLDEN CHICKEN PUMPKIN (MYR 36)

Deep fried chicken drumstick and pumpkin slices with salted egg- awesome! I mean, who don’t love salted egg stuff after all? (=

GRILLED BEEF IN BAMBOO TUBE (MYR 38)

Grilled tenderloin beef cube, capsicum and onion on skewer served in bamboo tube. This is one dish I would personally recommend. Not only each cube of meat is juicy and tender, it is also lightly but nicely seasoned with pepper to retain its original sweetness, thumbs up!

STEAMED PRAWN WITH YOUNG COCONUT (MYR 48)

Juicy steamed prawns served clinging on a young coconut with some flaming sensation.

STIR FRIED MIX VEGETABLES (MYR 24)

Crisp in every bites!

AVOCADO DRINK

VIETNAMESE COFFEE

Certainly not going home without trying out the iconic cup of joe!

Nicely dripped and decently mixed with condensed milk to sort of subdue the stronger body of the coffee.

Overall, it has been a lovely evening over here at Royale Vietnam, tantalizing the taste buds delightfully with its many toothsome amazing recipes, not to mention its ever amiable service by the crew. As such, it completes yet another wonderful epicurean experience at some 6,000 feet up the hill- as part of the recent 24-hrs gourmet excursion at SkyAvenue, Genting Highlands lately,
