MIL TOAST HOUSE 밀토스트집 @ THE EXCHANGE TRX

After some hiatus from café scene (mostly due to post-pandemic of Corona V), finally life is starting to fall into the right place once again- although not exactly the same anymore but still count the blessing nevertheless. There has been lot of changes every now and then, but hey, that’s what life is!

Just gotta embrace it courageously and gratefully while still trying to journey through appreciatively.

And so, the famous Korean steamed bread store MIL Toast House has finally decided to call Kuala Lumpur as one of its latest outpost. Whenever passed by, it's never short of queue from the store entrance. Lucky for me that i'm able to get a table right away upon reaching- perhaps due to odd hours. But that's not long before i saw the outside queue started to build up again..... call it may be business luck bringer? (=

Adore the interior design which is on the minimalist style of white and light brown hues, simply so tranquil....

Steamed Bread Combo Series

(Corn & Chestnut)- MYR 14.50 & MYR 11.50

For this series, you have to choose a combo of two fillings or original itself. As such, i went for Corn and Chestnut- to which i prefer the latter.

The mini loaf are served warm and accompanied by a dollop of cream too.

Honey Bread Series

Chestnut Vanilla Bread (MYR 25)

And tada! The toastie version of the usual Mont Blanc dessert, hehe.

By now, you must have guessed that i seems to have a thing for chestnut, haha. The bread was soft and somewhat buttery in middle. When paired with chilling Vanilla Ice Cream, easily transformed it into a lovely bites for any sweet tooth effortlessly.

Souffle French Toast Series

Strawberry Souffle French Toast (MYR 30)

Next we had the hybrid French pastry that intertwined between Toast and Souffle!

Toastie came with slightly eggy crisp on the crust, paired with generous helping of whipped up cream cheese garnished with alluring strawberries.... just guessing based on my tongue as i would expect my cream cheese spread to be denser and cheesier though, hmmm................

Last but not least, Mocha Cauldron Cake (MYR 29) as finale!

It arrived steamed and texture wise was bit unique- rather moist and pillowy almost like a souffle texture too.

Hot Drip Coffee (MYR 12) to wrap up my maiden visit to this Korean cafe. I wish i could go back again to Korea for the forth time soon.............. let's see, shall we? (=

And definitely not leaving without trying the signature Milk Series!

And Chestnut Milk (MYR 1to go! Really love this for the subtle sweetness that it brought along..... masshissoyo, nomu joaheyo!!

Actually, the Hershey's Choc Milk seems equally promising too! Yummzz....
