LWIN LEE | Tom, Dick & Harry’s @ Pavillion KL

If you’re on the lookout for some real good, juicy porkie fare, Tom, Dick & Harry’s, is one of the best place to consider, especially if you have a yen for pulled pork.

Initially, I was not so keen in trying it out after hearing the not-so-promising feedback from a foodie friend of mine. Guess what? This impromptu pit-stop has indeed changed the perception to a satisfying experience, which left me yearning for another return. I was told that the menu for lunch has been revamped with more choices to cater the busy city folks, especially during the hectic lunch hours, which also happened to be the period we popped by.

Decked unassumingly in a rustic interior with contemporary ambience, this place hosts some indie feel where there would be band serenading you with melodious tunes (I guess should be at night), and I especially love the jazz drum stage!

Ah, not forgetting the quirky gag line; “Mo Man Tai”!  (Frankly speaking, to come across such Cantonese argot at this Western establishment is the least thing I would expect actually, hehe)

Nonetheless, here you go, the much celebrated Lunch Menu served at only MYR 18 nett, is definitely a good bargain, looking at its fairly large portion, which also comes with one drink and soup or dessert to complement the mains.

Pumpkin Soup
Very palatable as you could taste the original sweetness of the pumpkin, spiced up with a slice of paprika-dashed toastie. I don’t mind if the soup is concocted slightly richer as the one I had at Spassio Milano- another great bowl of pumpkin soup discovered.

Pulled Pork Burger
It’s so much more than a burger. The raisin bun, spread with some red pepper mayonnaise, lettuce, 3 hours of roasted pulled pork topped with sweet caramelized onions and melted cheese mix. Don’t forget the side of potato chips too, as it reminded………….

Each laces of meat are juicily marinated, resulting in awesome lusciousness in every bite!

Mexican Pork Wrap
Indulge in this mouth watering wrap of lettuce, herbed tomato, pineapple pico de gallo, pulled pork, melted cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. All served with deep-fried tortilla chips and red pepper dip.

This plate is ideal for a light eater and the wrappo actually reminds me of another similar fare, but using thick-and-tender chicken meat at The Standing Theory. Best part is the tortilla chips over here are homemade and crisply enticing! You won’t feel oily at all.

Butter Pudding
Velvet and milkily toothsome. Compared to the usual Bread Pudding, this fare appears to be denser with adequate moisture that somehow still quite delicious. I personally prefer this recipe than the latter.

Overall, service is good and food are sumptuously hearty that left us with more anticipation next round!

Oh, by the way, they do serve coffee here but I think best to keep it for another day as I don’t intend to further burden up the already sated lucky tummy of mine :)

In case you are wondering where your latte would be getting its espresso shot from, TDH uses Mago blend, from Barbera’s Coffee.

Anyway, cheerios for now!
