Espressolab @ Pavillion, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
Guess another
café has springed up again. This time brings us to Espressolab, another cozy coffee place that is strategically
located at Pavillion Shopping Mall at the busy street of Golden Triangle.
It is
actually quite noticeable as you head towards the middle section of Food
Republic, somewhere nearby The Toast Box. Just opposite this coffee-toastie
stall, you would see a new section of Komugi bakery and Espressolab is just
situated at the corner end. Else, if you find I a bit of hassle, then you could
head straight up to Times Bookstore at Level 6, where another kiosk is being
stationed up there to cater for the book worms shopping spree.
Boldly
indicated with its attention-grabbing trademark.
This café business has commenced since last December and has since garnered some good feedback pertaining to their premium coffee taste. The house blend that they are using includes origins from Columbia, Guatemala, Brazil and Sumatra. All variants sourced are of 100% Arabica Guess that’s one of the reasons that keep enticing its string of coffee enthusiasts.
Environment
wise, guests could expect a casual and warm vibes with comfy red couch at the
nook, or you could opt for a more airy area just adjacent to its store.
One of the
aesthetic elements that am looking forward in every coffee café is their
gorgeous display of their quality coffee brewing equipment other than the main commercial
machine. This would somehow stir up your interest towards better coffee
appreciation and also the art of brewing a good cup of coffee by the ardent
barista. Guess it’s time to revive back the coffee workshop knowledge that I attended
some months ago : )
Alright, time
to select some good meal from the chalky listings, to refuel our body heartily.
Cheesy Baked
Pasta (MYR 12.90)
Adequately
baked with substantial cheese and cream on the top, covering the soft pasta
beneath. However, I would prefer if the pasta is still slightly springier to my
palate.
Mocha (MYR
14)
I enjoyed
every sip of the aromatic prepared coffee with some hints of chocolaty taste
from cocoa powder.
Bear Art
Rosetta Pattern
Chocolate
Cake (MYR 2.50 each)
It is very
dense and moist. Simply decadent but not overly sweet. You should really try
this out.
Nutella
Milkshake (MYR 13.90)
Just the mere
mention about Nutella conjures up the image of indulging chocolaty spread on a
piece of freshly baked bread. But in this case, it has been transformed into a
much more soothing beverage; milkshake! It comes in quite a humble
presentation, though I think it would be better spiced up with some mint leaves
garnishment. Creamy and decently milky.
Still able to gulp in sinfully after lunch meal :D
Overall,
coffee tastes good and definitely looking forward to another return to try out
their new menu range, be it desserts or main dishes, and not forgetting, their
aromatic cuppa!
