LWIN LEE | THE ZUN EXPRESS @ THE GARDEN, MID VALLEY

Visit to this restaurant was actually quite an incidental encounter, after being informed that Nana’s Green Tea needs us to wait for another an hour or so. Therefore, just heed my dongsaeng’s advice to just get some simple tea time fix before catching Interstellar, which took about a good 3 hours! (=

One step into the restaurant brings back the familiar scene we usually see in those ancient dramas of China Dynasty era, with all the displayed antique vases and intricate paintings decorating the spacious area. Of course, Lumix would not miss our this visual feasting moment, hehe.

After a brief waiting, hot rose tea came to greet us and keep us occupied till our snacks arrived.

STEVIA ROSE TEA (MYR 6.80)
Calming and soothing are what we need to sorta relax and away from the hurried city life.

GUI LIN GAO (MYR 4.80)
The herbal jelly is good, not too bitter and goes really well with the honeyed syrup.

POLO BUN (MYR 4 for 2 pcs)
We have a mixture here; Custard Polo Bun and Huai San Chicken Polo Bun. The latter actually reminds me Char Siew Sou, except the fact that it isn’t pork meat and lighter in colour with fragrant sesame seeds.

Though these plates might not be ideal filling meals between bouts of shopping, at least they are suffice to last us for few hours in the cinema before the next hungry pangs kicks in =)

Cheers  for now and Carpe Diem!
