WHISKY TASTING | THE GLENLIVET RANGE SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY @ LA BODEGA LOUNGE, BANGSAR

It was an exciting, yet another eye-opening experience attending this Scottish Single Malt Whisky tasting after the previous encounter with its peer, Bruichladdich Distillery at the Master Class session.

This sensuous discovery evening was recently held at La Bodega Lounge- a Spanish-style Tapas Bar, located at the ever thriving, prime locality of Bangsar, educating whisky enthusiast further with the art of whisky tasting.

The night was made even upbeat with appearance of Lionel Lau, Brand Ambassador for The Glenlivet in Malaysia.

As genial Lionel enlightened us with his speech on his exotic whisky journey, he also shared with us how to taste and discern the varieties of whisky notes while at the same time, emphasizing that no whisky is the best nor the tastiest but it actually boils down to one’s personal preference choice of taste bud. After all, one man's meat might be another man's poison, hence there is no straight rule in this gustatory odyssey  (=

As the room was filled up with camaraderie among whisky aficionado, all invited guests were also served with light tapas to keep them accompanied throughout the sharing session amidst light chattering whilst relishing in the whisky exchange moment with The Glenlivet 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old and 18 Year Old respectively.
