Yes, am back again at this favourite quaint spot of mine!




Those of your who have been following my foodie CarpeDiem page would have visually feasted this cozy nook a couple of times by now (=. Well, whenever am nearby Uptown ad hoc randomly or hosting impromptu visit by friends from afar, Epicuro seems to be always my best bet for homey culinary dining spot besides Ampersand, which also always keeps me anticipating for more bewildering, creatively twisted creations by the rebellious team behind it.

Although the interior has undergone some changes with lesser yellow chrome with it, the environment now is enhanced with more artistic chalk drawings of abstract composition which I deem pretty meaningful, especially the lovebird prints (=





So what’s in stored for us this time after the previous visit? Let’s check it out!

Ever since learning from Epicuro page that the new pasta dishes is out, I’ve been yearning to back here for another round of feast as I’ve been eyeing on the mushroom-crowned pasta specifically (Can’t help as I’m a big fan of anything about these edible fungus  and there will always be ‘MUCH-ROOM’ for them ^^)




MIXED MUSHROOMS BACON AGLIO OLIO (MYR 23.90)
Sautéed brown mushrooms, king trumpet mushrooms with bacon bits and rocket leaves.
How can you not fall in love with it? Every bite is full of springy and juicy assortment of mushrooms family, accompanied by juicy housemade pork bacons (Also one of the main reason of my many returns, hehe) tossed beautifully with some chilli flakes and al dente spaghetti.





CONCHIGLIE WITH SPINACH CREAM (MYR 22.90)
Shell-shaped pasta in a spinach cream sauce with bacon bits and toasted sunflower seeds, topped off with some grated cheese.



Still the luscious, toothsome plate of pasta that I had during my maiden visit to this enchanting place.




Some good coffee to mellow down the evening before Monday comes…………

ICED MOCHA (MYR 11)



LATTE MACCHIATO (MYR 10)
By ordering this macchiato has indirectly enhance my understanding in caffeine vocab- which brings to my comprehension that it’s merely adding milk stain to the espresso shot, hence the much diluter cuppa resulted. I was initially wondering why the lesser body of espresso shot as am used to drinking latte or cappuccino, till Priscilla enlightened me about it. So thanks again buddy!
