TEDxINTIKL @ CORNERSTONE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE (IPC), KUALA LUMPUR!

I’m pretty sure many of you may have heard or even already an ardent follower of TEDx Talks which is very inspirational in the spirit of ideas worth spreading, towards building a sustainable community of Young, Wild and Free generation transcending various differences of cultures and backgrounds

“THE THEME YOUNG, WILD & FREE!

Ideas behind the theme revolve around the fact that everyone is young at heart, no matter how old they are. The spirit of being young allows new heights to be reached, and that is reflected in the presenters of this Tedx event. They are wild in terms of doing things that aren't of the norm. They are free from restrictions within the border lines, aren't limited to only being and thinking within the box, and do things that aren't done by everyone around”, says TEDxINTIKL.

As such, a special sharing session has been kicked off with encouraging response from the public at the spacious multi-purpose hall at Cornerstone International Centre (IPC), located strategically at the second floor of Wisma Selangor Dredging, just a stone’s throw away from Suria KLCC.

The independent TEDx events featuring live influential speakers were organized by INTI TEDx club from INTI International College Kuala Lumpur together with volunteers in ensuring the first TEDx event for INTI Kuala Lumpur Campus a success.

 

A brief on TED

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics – from science to business to global issues – in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

Various presenters from different industry and background came to share ideas surrounding facts and situations that they have been through or have learnt throughout their lives in hope to enlighten others. Among the invited guests are, just to name a few- Yulina (Biker), Blake Yap Jun Ming (YouTuber, Filmmaker, Entertainer), Ruby Subramaniam (Artist), Yusuf Preece (Entrepreneur), Danish Harraz (Baker, Entrepreneur),

And the piece of advice that audiences can bring home…………

“Freedom is within us, yet we are so commonly bounded by our realities. Our differences and our limitations create a barrier towards our passion and thoughts. Young, Wild and Free touches into the ideas of breaking the barriers and venturing out for greater possibilities. Age shall never be a limit to our freedom to decide what we can do to make a difference. Be young, be wild and be free!
