OMAYA 春川炒鸡 - CHEESY KOREAN SPICED CHICKEN @ SS15, SUBANG JAYA





I guess we just can’t get enough of cheese and the wonders they can bring about when talking about mix and matching them in culinary- it all boils down to creativity, and of course, your personal liking!




For foodie like us who have always enjoy the gooeyness of these stripy nosh especially when pulling it out when steaming hot, it’s only natural that we lump it up and enjoy that way by itself (for a true blue cheese love) or can also sinfully paired with your fave grubs- meats and ribs in this case.




Been operating since last November and the throng of people queuing for it ever since, Omaya 春川炒鸡- a brand originating from Taiwan, is specializing in Korean BBQ meats that comes generously doused with cheddar and mozzarella,  elevating your palate to the ultimate indulgence. Of course, if you are not so keen about the cheese, you can gladly leave them to those like us who enjoys cheese just like their second staple, hehe.






So what's the hype that has got everyone so excited and addicted to it?



SHIMSON STEW (MYR 84- 2 to 3 pax)
Army stew, fried rice and cheesy spicy stir fried topokki chicken with kimchi and lettuce are complimentarily served.








CHEESE DAKGALBI (MYR 68- 2 to 3 pax)
Touted as Lee Kwang Soo’s favourite from The Running Man hits, this feast is sufficient to feed up to 3 people with Kimchi, soup, lettuce or plain rice as complimentary sides.



DEEP FRIED SQUID CHEESY TOPOKKI STEW (MYR 45)
Giant squid from Argentina is specially chosen for better texture and gustatory sensation! Personally, I’m loving this nosh very much!




HONEY MUSTARD BONELESS CHICKEN CUBE (MYR 25)
Indeed pure gratification for die-hard CHEESE lovers!!


And last but not least, the mega limelight is stolen by this 1200mm Giant Korean BBQ Skewer that comes with a potpourri of seafood and meat assortment. Now how your taste bud not be toothsomely pampered? (=

Seeing the pineapple slice reminds me of those Brazilian barbeque how they nicely grilled the fruit till caramelized. 

  

Besides the complimentary grilled egg, kimchi, dipping sauce and lettuce are served complimentarily, diners get to satiate their carnivorous craving from those patiently queued up fresh, juicy prawns, giant deep sea squid, specially selected pork belly, succulent pork shoulder and premium beef steak.








For some Korean trendy drinks, quench your thirst after the sumptuous feast with Watermelon Milk (MYR 13.90) or the cutesy Rainbow Slush (MYR 11.90) where the Korean stylist drink bottle will be given free too. A little memento perhaps? (=
