TRAVEL | NEW ZEALAND DAY 4

As our maiden Kiwi vacation came to the fourth day after exploring Queenstown, the beautiful stay at Wanaka pristine quaint little town of Tekapo as well as the unplanned salmon pitstop at Twizel earlier on, we really felt that there was so much more to look forward to indeed.

Thus far, New Zealand especially the Southland has never stopped astounding us with its majestic beauty and natural miracles, where every nook and corner is literally a piece of many breathtaking live paintings indeed. We were totally blown by it!

After a well-spent cozy crib at Lake Tekapo Motel & Holiday Park and some attempt to do star gazing the night before, we quickly packed up our stuff the next morning and check out from the motel soon after some bites of simple breakfast (salmon sushi for Warm Pillow) and as for me, 2 home brand ice creams of Kapiti’s Boysenberry and Tip Top’s Top Notch Macadamia were great enough to temporarily fuel up my morning, I supposed (=

In fact, we’re rather excited about today’s excursion for we would be seeing glacier for the very first time! With a mix feeling of both excited and anxious, we started off our journey resourcefully to go further up towards the Mackenzie region in order to reach Hermitage Hotel at Mount Aoraki to catch a glimpse of those mystical snow-capped mountain!
