GIN LAO @ ROCKCLIFFE WINERY, DENMARK WA

Bright and windy day greeted us upon arrival at Rockcliffe Winery from Albany, it surely seems like a good day for some scenic spot visits while the town was still bestowed with this kind and beautiful weather.

The sky did get a little gloomier later on which worries me but somehow or rather, lady’s luck was on our side as the day took a change for the better much later on, which allows us to visit the charming Green Pool and Elephant Cove, interactively led by our amiable amigo, Steve from Rockcliffe Cellar!

Well, just before we departed, we got to relish in some delish Lao food that was passionately dished up by the genial owner of Gin Lao, a pop-up restaurant located within Rockcliffe Winery offering amazing South-East Asian cuisine alongside Steve’s wine tasting cellar.

   

Needless to say, those yummy grubs tickled our palate amusingly and so happened, I was just thinking of some homey Asian food the night before while I’m vacationing in Perth, haha.

 

Guests were seen enjoying lounging on the beautiful lawns surrounding the cellar door and listening to the best in local music

 

We gonna would miss this place dearly...........

  

So yeah, our tummies were happily and mouthwateringly fueled up and soon, we went in one car with Steve and drove all the way to Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool before the sun set in.

Hence, Carpe Diem!
