BLUE OCEAN FISH & CHIPS @ AUGUSTA, WA

Soon after the sun set in beautifully at Hamelin Bay, it’s the anticipating moment again before finally calling it a day.

As we wandered around light-heartedly, amidst the eventide betided town, we stumbled upon another must-have local delights- fish and chips, after the previous yummy experience at Ocean and Paddock in Albany.

Blue Ocean Fish and Chips was located next door to the Augusta Visitor Center and well-loved by both locals and visitors who usually would rave on about how fresh and tasty the fish here was. It does not come as a surprise since this humble family-operated eatery with friendly staff, is situated precisely in the heart of a sea side town where you are guaranteed of various fresh catch.

Fisherman’s Basket (AUD 17.40)

Tasty combo comprising a fish, crabstick, crumbled prawn, scallop and double squid rings.

Local Shark (AUD 10.70)

Somehow or rather, we enjoyed this fillet more for it's  juicier and sweeter in fish taste.

Hence, don’t forget to pop in for some yummy and earnest fish and chips whenever you are down south!
