Age Nasu

crispy browned, before soaked in a flavorful dashi and soy sauce based broth.
No wonder it remained juicy and actually got me confused earlier wondering what
is this soft bite is.

Latte Coffee Lamb Shank
Slow cooked lamb
shank with latte coffee sauce
Yeah, you read it
right, with coffee sauce! But fret not, the coffee taste is not overly strong
and comes greeting your taste bud with a subtle touch.
The meat was lovely
as it is tenderly braised till soft and most importantly without that
intimidating gamey taste, kudos! Coupled with the flavourful caffeined gravy,
every bites of the fork-off meat is certainly a pleasure!

Sun Dried Duck Fried Rice
As humble as it may
seem, I must say that this is one of the main highlight of the feast.
The fragrant fried
rice was nicely cooked with imported waxed meat of duck breast, diced mushroom
and barbecue chicken. Each grain of rice was fluffily light and pleasant to the
taste bud, non-sticky nor too salty in flavor. One particular ingredient that
enhances the overall enjoyment was the addition of the sun-dried duck breast
meat; which adds on a different layer of texture and turns out surprisingly
well!
Despite the fact that
this dish is lard-free, it somehow able to garner the essential Oriental taste
closely. Indeed a case of simplicity at its best, under the seasoned hands of
Chef Jerry.
