Free Mori @ Damansara Uptown
Guess this is
my first time actually making my footprint at Damansara Uptown, truth be told
:) After some detour to Fraser Hill and nice meal of Macau Pork Chop Bun, we
decided to get a couple of pastries from this bright and cutesy bakery for
breakfast the very next day. And this Mille Danish is actually quite tempting
from its descriptions of ingredients used.
Mille Danish
As recommended
by the pastry chef itself, it is one kind of a thicker version of Danish bake,
that is stacking high with tons of layers that resembles those of Phyllo types
:D It is fluffy and full of buttery taste. Goes down well with a cup of milk
too :D
Spring Onion
Whenever
seeing this choice at Free Mori, I would definitely coaxed to bring one back
home :D No doubt there are many varieties of this similar recipe out there from
other patisseries, but somehow, this Spring Onion over here seems to lure me
more :P The outer layer seems to be lightly baked till light brownish with some
chopped scallions and white sesame to enhance the flavor. It is nice and
savoury, when coupled with chicken floss at both end of the solid cylindrical
pastry on top of some layer of mayo. Quite a pleasant treat :D
