Captivating Town of Kuching, Sarawak.

Hooray!

Another memorable trip has been engraved in my life diary, but this time destination is set to be in the captivating town of Kuching :)

This indirectly marked my first footprint at this peaceful town of the Sarawak’s capital. The local people were very friendly and helpful, thus we had not much issue in locating the places of interest that we wished to drop by at this foreign land.

Food was good, authentically palate-pleasing coupled with the cordial atmosphere that surely put you in a joyful mood. Amongst the local signature food that we had tasted were famous Sarawak Kolo Mee, Sarawak Laksa, Three-Layered Tea, Barbecued Meat, awesome seafood (no joke, they’re mouthwatering), great Western coffee place and many more. But to squeeze all of these places in a 2D 1 N trip did sound a bit challenging. Anyway, glad that we were still able to pull it off pretty handsomely, hehe.

We ate as we walked, and we walked as we ate, lol.

Ah ha, something common but doesn't come out ubiquitously, Sarawak way of Fried Oyster Omelette!

A rather unique and culturally feel kind of indie cafe; Life Cafe!

Love the Uji Matcha dearly!

Amongst the many interesting places that we managed to drop by:

Kuching North City Hall

Kuching Waterfront

Court House Complex

And that awkward situation that put you in dilemma where your shutterbug aide just won't snap the shot as you wish, but rather more impromptu and find delights when catching your action in surprise! ............. Which the persona deemed it as much more enjoyable and exhilarating
******* facepalm ********  x_X

Ah, happen to bump into the house of Garfield too, wow! It's residing in Grand Magherita Hotel by the way, hehe..........

And one of my favourite coffee place that serves real good Cheescake!! Bing Cafe it is.......

Oreo Cheesecake (best seller at the foreground)  & decadent  Carrot Cake.

Hot Latte

Cappucino

Overall, this town was pretty accessible on foot and you could actually enjoy a safe strolling from guesthouse to the nearby touristy and historical spots. Oh, for this trip, we chose to put up a night at the comfy Premium Stay Hostel, which was located slightly off Abell Road in the city of Kuching.

If one thing that i would miss very much; it's the cutesy lill' Duckling blanket! They are just too adorable that i yet to find elsewhere in any of my vacation lodging. Alright, don't laugh too loud :P

It’s definitely a reposeful moment to enjoy some brisk walking, especially near the Kuching Waterfront where brushes of gentle wind came brushing by once awhile.

We definitely had a whale of a time albeit this trip was being decided at the eleventh hour. Nevertheless, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing thrust away from the mundane anxiety and monotony of the hectic daily life. We missed the benevolence and hospitality rendered throughout our stay as well as the amiable folks of Kuching in general. Though the city life exuded some kinda laid-back environment, I enjoy the tranquility it brought along, totally different from our metropolitan of Kuala Lumpur. If we ever return for another round, we would definitely ensure it to be a much longer stay in order to really explore the places around that we yet to cover in this such short lodging duration.

Oh, what a dainty pink architecture!

As you might guess, definitely i wouldn't go back without a snap of it :)

Anyway, cheerios for the time being!

Remember to seize the day!            (✿◠‿◠)
