KITA COFFEE @ FAHRENHEIT, BUKIT BINTANG
Having been an avid buff of earnest café
recipes especially matcha, it’s good to learn that another new establishment
has joined the caffeine bandwagon within the Golden Triangle metropolis. It
certainly comes as good news for coffee, dessert and tea enthusiasts alike for
providing more options when it comes to café dining scene in KL vicinity rather
than always have to go all the way to nearest pitstop in Petaling Jaya- of
course, would love to do that often if time allows.
But meanwhile, Kita Coffee located at
Fahrenheit provides a calming hut for a cuppa or two with various homebaked
cakes and vegan-friendly savoury menu.
And due to its strategic location, I
managed to introduce it to my colleague who was also keen to have a second
(quick fix round) after lunch at Pavilion one sunny day (=
Matcha with Milk (MYR 13) of course to
start with!
Matcha with Genmaicha (special request) epitome of the best of both worlds! (=
To my delights, it wasn’t too heavy in
cream but tasted refreshingly fruity. Thanks to the crisp, sparkling notes of
rose that is well complemented by juicy lychee too. Otherwise, I’d shun away
from cloying stuff usually, hehe.
Genmaicha Chiffon
Fukamushi (MYR 17)
This steamed tea from Komichi Tea
provides a rather clear and bright notes. It’s said to be steamed 2 to 3
times longer than regular sencha and
hence, renders a comfy tea that is mild and sweet.
As I tend to miss out the Matcha-themed
swiss roll each time I visited, I look forward to dropping by again soon,
besides it’s also a stone’s throw away from my usual fave coffee hideout- Artelier Coffee x Kitchen located at
Pavilion KL. So do check ‘em out soon!
