TRAVEL | SYDNEY DAY 1 @ AUSTRALIA

For the unwavering sheer love for travelling, I’ll try to embark on excursion at least annually so to keep enriching the life journey with meaningful memories created along the way besides some soul searching as well.

After having the opportunity and indeed blessed to have visited New Zealand and Perth previously, guess it’s good time to venture to other part of the vast world for new discovery. So when a bunch of alma mater paisanos suggested on why not paying a long overdue visit to one of our friend who had just migrated to Sydney not long ago. And so as you may have guessed it, Sydney was my next destination.

While the memories were still vividly lingering in the mind, I felt it’s best to better pen it down soon or else, not sure when would be able to find such ample time currently again.

After arriving on the first day, we took a cab from the airport straight to our buddy lodge in suburb North Ryde, where it’s strategically located in Macquarie Park with a large shopping mall that was easily accessible just a stone’s throw away- very convenient and we love shopping there indeed especially at night after we’re back from whole day strolling, hehe ^^

MACQUARIE SEAFOODS @ MACQUARIE PARK, SYDNEY

It’s about lunch time when we arrived at this neighbourhood mall, fully equipped with various F&B choices. So much so that we were spoilt for choices. Luckily, our fellow buddy Tuck ensured we were under good hands by sharing some yummy suggestions to keep us accompanied meanwhile as he was actually still working on that day.

After quick browsing around, we stopped by Macquarie Seafood as our sights were literally locked on to the myriad choices of fresh seafood on the ice bed upon laying our eyes on them, wow!

LEISURE SIGHT SEEING @ DARLING HARBOUR SYDNEY

After our toothsome lunch at Macquarie Seafoods, we proceeded to the nearest subway and made a move to town for a leisure stroll around the CBD before wrapping up the day at the scenic  Darling Harbour.

Among the places that we happened to briefly come by were St Andrew’s Cathedral, Market City, Ultimo, Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay Wharf, Anzac Bridge.......... Also some quick stop for Emperor’s Puff at Chinatown

RASHAYS - DARLING HARBOUR @ DARLING HARBOUR SYDNEY

Time really flies. In the blink of an eye, the night had fallen again.
Subsequently after a relaxing carefree stroll around Sydney CBD, we stopped by at Rashays Harbourside for a quick fix of toothsome dinner.

Actually we were pretty lucky that day. As it was a Monday, coincidentally Rashays was having this special promotion at only AUD 10 for its signature steak and schnitty for a limited time only, running from Monday to Firday, available for dine in both lunch and dinner. Needless to say, we were all overjoyed (=

And our travel journey continues.............
Cheers for now and follow us at Carpe Diem for more ‘food-ful’ discoveries! ℒℴѵ
